Kapwa PH is not intended for mental health crises or emergencies. If you find yourself in danger or facing a life-threatening situation during Pakikipagkapwa, you will be encouraged to contact the Philippine National Police Hotline or your local police hotline at 911. If you are experiencing suicidal thoughts or behaviors, you will also be advised to reach out to the NCMH Crisis Hotline at (+63) 9190571553 or (+63) 9178998727.
If you have mentioned during Pakikipagkapwa that you are or maybe in crisis, you will be referred to the said government agency who specialized services that are better equipped to assist you.
SERVICE INFORMATION
Kapwa PH is an online platform that allows individuals to connect and receive peer support from their Kapwa. However, Pakikipagkapwa is not intended to replace or serve as a substitute for consultation with a licensed medical professional. Kapwa PH does not hold any licenses or qualifications to diagnose, assess, or treat any mental or medical conditions, nor to evaluate the impact of peer support on such conditions. By using our services, you acknowledge that you do so at your own risk, voluntarily participate in these activities, assume all associated risks, and agree to release and discharge Kapwa PH from any and all claims or legal actions, whether known or unknown, that may arise from your participation in or use of our peer support services.
ELIGIBILITY AND ABILITY TO ACCEPT TERMS
By using our services, you affirm that you are 18 years of age and above, and fully able and competent to enter into these terms, conditions, obligations, affirmations, representation, and warranties set forth in these terms, and to abide by and comply with these terms.
PAKIKIPAGKAPWA FORM
Kapwa PH prioritizes the anonymity of our users. However, to connect you with peers or Kapwa facing similar challenges, we will request certain necessary information, including Nickname, Email Address, Cellphone Number, and their Detailed Struggle. All user information will be maintained with the highest level of security and care.
By using our services, you acknowledge and agree that Kapwa PH requires this information to provide the services offered. In exchange for accessing our services, you agree to provide truthful, accurate, current, and complete information when filling out the Pakikipagkapwa form. If any information you provide is found to be false, inaccurate, outdated, or incomplete, or if Kapwa PH has reasonable grounds to suspect this is the case, we reserve the right to deny any future requests or submissions for our services. Additionally, we retain the right to terminate any submission or request for Pakikipagkapwa at any time for violations of these terms or for any actions we consider harmful to the services.
RESOURCES
Kapwa PH’s resources are provided solely for informational and educational purposes and are not intended to replace the expertise or advice of healthcare professionals. Users who access these materials bear full responsibility for how they apply the information. Kapwa PH is not liable for any claims, losses, or damages resulting from the use of these materials. We have no control over, nor any obligation to monitor, how you interpret or utilize the resources, nor any actions you may take as a result of engaging with them. By using these resources, you waive any liability on our part for any outcomes related to your decision to use or disregard the information offered through Pakikipagkapwa.
ACCEPTABLE USE
You agree not to access or use the services provided by Kapwa PH in any illegal manner or for any unlawful or improper purpose, and in no way that violates these terms. You are prohibited from posting, using, storing, or transmitting messages or information under false pretenses, or any content that is illegal, defamatory, obscene, fraudulent, harmful to minors, harassing, threatening, or hateful toward any individual. You must not attempt to disrupt the service’s operation through any means, such as viruses, Trojan horses, worms, time bombs, denial of service attacks, flooding, or spamming. You are also forbidden from using the service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair its functionality. Unauthorized access to user accounts, computer systems, or networks through hacking, password mining, or other methods is strictly prohibited. Contacting any Kapwa moderators outside of the service is not allowed and will be considered a violation of these terms. You are solely responsible for the information or materials you share on the service.
KAPWA MODERATORS
Kapwa moderators serve as peer support facilitators and are not licensed clinicians. Kapwa PH does not assume responsibility for the quality of services provided by any moderated peer group, nor for any actions, omissions, or misconduct of these groups. While Kapwa PH will assist you in finding a suitable moderated peer group and help you locate a new group if your initial match is unsuccessful, as well as follow up on any complaints regarding your current moderator or group, we do not make any representations or warranties regarding the relevance, usefulness, accuracy, satisfaction, or suitability of the services provided by the moderated peer group to meet your needs.
You should not rely solely on Kapwa PH for health or well-being decisions. Never disregard, avoid, or delay seeking medical advice from your doctor or another qualified healthcare professional, or from a traditional face-to-face appointment, based solely on the information or guidance received through Kapwa PH.

Kapwa PH may provide links to third-party websites or resources. You acknowledge and agree that Kapwa PH is not responsible or liable for the availability or accuracy of these resources, nor for the content, products, or services offered on or accessible from these websites. The presence of links to such websites or resources does not constitute an endorsement by Kapwa PH. You assume full responsibility for and accept all risks associated with your use of any such websites or resources, as well as the content, products, or services available from them.
FEEDBACKS
After each Pakikipagkapwa session, we invite and encourage all participants to share their feedback, comments, and suggestions to help us improve our services. You can submit your feedback by emailing us at connect@kapwaph.com with the subject “Feedback”. By providing feedback, you acknowledge and agree that all submissions will become the sole and exclusive property of Kapwa PH.
USER AFFIRMATIONS
By using our services, you represent, warrant, and agree to the following:
You are solely responsible for adhering to all applicable laws, rules, regulations, or obligations related to your use of the service.
You will not utilize the service for any commercial or unauthorized purposes that are not explicitly permitted by these terms.
You will not copy, store, or access any information contained within the service for purposes that are not expressly authorized by these terms.
You will not interfere with or cause damage to the service, including, but not limited to, using viruses, cancel bots, Trojan horses, harmful code, flood pings, denial-of-service attacks, packet or IP spoofing, forged routing, or any similar methods or technologies.
You will not impersonate any individual or entity, nor falsify or misrepresent your identity or your affiliation with any person or organization.
You will not attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerabilities of any Kapwa PH system or network, or breach any security or authentication measures.
Kapwa PH reserves the right to investigate and take legal action against any violations of the above terms to the fullest extent allowed by law. Kapwa PH may collaborate with law enforcement authorities in prosecuting users who violate these terms.
You acknowledge that while Kapwa PH has no obligation to monitor your access to or use of the service, it retains the right to do so for the purposes of operating the service, ensuring your compliance with these terms, or complying with applicable laws or court orders, administrative agency requirements, or other governmental directives.
TERMINATION
Kapwa PH may suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time, for any reason, or even for no reason at all. We reserve the right (but are not obligated) to deny access to the service to any individual, agency, or organization at any time, at our sole discretion, for any reason or without any reason. Additionally, Kapwa PH retains the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service, either temporarily or permanently, without prior notice.
